NHG leaders welcomed Konkuk University's delegations

On the morning of September 26, 2017, NHG leaders welcomed the delegations of Konkuk University (Korea) during the working visit of KU at NHG's education system, which took place from Sep 26th to Sep 30th, 2017.

Before, in April 2017, iStudent – a member of NHG and KU has signed the MOU included important collaborations: Exchanging of students between NHG and KU systems; opening KU office at the iStudent headquarter in HCMC to recruit Vietnamese students to study at KU in Korea;  opening iStudent office at KU in Seoul, Korea to recruit Korean students to come to learn the Vietnamese language at the NHG school system; Organizing University preparatory classes and Korean language classes for Vietnamese students who want to go study in Korea.

Dr. Dinh Quang Nuong, Deputy CEO of NHG, welcomed the KU’s delegation, and highly appreciated the collaboration items between the two parties after signing MOU. The two sides shared the joy of the NHG inaugurating the building of the HIU “Ship of Knowledge” building on August 10, 2017, which will also be the location of KU's representative office in Ho Chi Minh City and most recently the inauguration of the new Him Lam campus of the International Schools of North America on September 23rd, 2017. Dr. Dinh Quang Nuong also affirmed that the NHG leaders will focus on and promote the collaboration roadmap with KU in the coming time, accelerating the speed of opening iStudent's representative office at KU headquarters in Seoul, South Korea, and continue to promote the exchange of students and faculty in the educational system of the two sides.After working in Group office, NHG leaders and KU's delegation attended the inauguration ceremony of KU's representative office at Hong Bang International University, 215 Dien Bien Phu, Ho Chi Minh City. The ceremony was solemnly organized, with the participation of the HIU’s Board of Management, teachers and students.

After the ceremony, the KU Principal's delegation came to visit the newly opened Him Lam Campus of International Schools of North America in District 7, HCMC.

In the coming days,  KU’s delegations will continue to visit and work with UK Academy Ba Ria; Ba Ria-Vung Tau University (BVU), and member resorts of NHG included Binh An Vung Tau Village; Long Beach Resort, Phu Quoc.

Accepted the invitation of KU Principal, iStudent and HIU representatives will come to visit KU in October, 2017.

 

Established since 1931, Konkuk University, a member of Konkuk Group, is the 2nd largest private University in Korea and is among the top 10 universities in Korea. The Konkuk education system consists of 22 universities with 33 faculties (86 majors) and 26 sub-sectors. Currently in Korea, beside the education system, the Konkuk Group also owns Real Estates, Hospitals, Golf courses, factories for Milk production, Giseng drink… right at the capital of Korea.
