Assoc.Prof.Dr. Pham Manh Hung, Deputy Minister of Education and Training:"I believe SNA can integrate into the world's advanced education"

In the afternoon of December 11th 2017, Associate Professor Doctor Pham Manh Hung - Deputy Minister of Education and Training, together with the representatives of HCMC Department of Education and Training visited School of North America (SNA). Talking to SNA teachers and students , Deputy Minister Pham Manh Hung highly appreciated the school's international standard education model from modern facilities to advanced teaching methods.

Talking about the strengths of SNA, Dr. Doan Hue Dung - Managing Director of the school said they've been building a student-centered learning environment in which they can learn, have fun, academically develop and improve personality as well.

Visiting the classes, Deputy Minister Pham Manh Hung kindly talked to the students. He expressed his delight at SNA students' ability to use English like native speakers and teachers' positive teaching methods that develop their abilities. "This is what Vietnamese education is aiming for in the forthcoming education reform. I believe SNA can integrate into the world's advanced education."

Officially in operation in September 2017, SNA has nearly 100 new classrooms and a system of function rooms such as library, music rooms, multi-purpose sports hall, indoor badminton court, artificial football field, swimming pool, shool hall, computer lab, physics lab, biochemistry lab... Each room, by careful research, is fully equipped with state-of-the-art  international standard equipment to best serve students' activities.

Besides, SNA has a new dormitory with two separate areas for boys and girls. The dorm has 22 bedrooms (with beds (bunks), private set of desk and closet, refrigerator and restroom), 2 relaxing rooms and 2 large living rooms. Especially, to ensure students' safety, all rooms are equipped with smart card system and modern equipment that meets the highest safety standards.

With such learning conditions, SNA students not only enjoy quality study services but also find themselves a living space where they can reach a comprehensively physical, intellectual and characteristic development through extra-curricular and social activities.
