Christmas Gifts 2021 is part of a series of annual events organized by Nguyen Hoang Group to educate the values of love, form and develop Human values ​​in the young generation. In a quieter Christmas Season than usual, "Christmas Gifts 2021 – The Glory of Love " truly delivered to viewers deep emotions. MC Dai Nghia and supermodel Thuy Hanh took us back to a very melancholy 2021 when the COVID-19 Pandemic had resulted in much pain and loss. It is by strength and care of medical professionals and the volunteers on the front lines that we were able to repel the spread of COVID-19 and gradually return normal everyday life.

At the Concert, the audience were able look back at the painful and difficult journey we have gone through. The song "Miss Vi, I Want to Go to School" brings to mind the feelings students have during a challenging time of online learning. The song "One Day in My Homeland" performed by Khanh Ngoc touched the hearts of the audience with words "praying for the warmth of peace to return to homeland". There were also familiar Christmas songs such as “Cao Cung Len” performed by Phan Dinh Tung, “Santa Claus is Coming to Town” performed by Van Mai Huong, “Silent Night” performed by Duc Tuan, Merry Xmas Medley performed by Angelo Band.

The performers sang their songs to express their gratitude to the dedication of the front line volunteers who have endured so much hardship and sacrifice to protect people get through from the Pandemic. They expressed “The Glory of Love” to welcome the return of the peaceful rhythm of life, joy, and happiness that is returning to the beloved homeland. The Concert is a special spiritual gift to energize the soul, dispel the darkness of a difficult year, and embrace a new, brighter future as the country enters a new normal.

Touching stories told before Christmas

 “Christmas Gifts 2021 – The Glory of Love” is speciall because this is not only an ordinary music program, but through which the audience can also hear touching stories about the aftermath of the COVID-19 Pandemic.

In interview segments, the audience met two special guests, Dr. Le Minh Huan, Specialist of Department II of Cho Ray Hospital and also a parent of the education system Nguyen Hoang and Mr. Vo Nhat Nam, a lecturer at Hong Bang International University. As a specialist in resuscitation, Dr. Le Minh Huan has been involved in battling the Pandemic since its peak and himself has many indescribable emotions. The most memorable moment for him was the first time working in a recovery room full of patients in critical conditions, a patient held the doctor's hand and whispered, "Try to save me, doctor! My family has 9 people but 7 have died. Only my grandchild and I are left. Doctor, please save me so I can take care of my loved ones." With the dedicated care of the doctors, that patient was able to make a spectacular recovery.

As one of more than 1,500 lecturers and students of NHG participating in the frontline of the fight against the Pandemic, Lecturer Vo Nhat Nam shared, “I was taking care of F0 patients at the Covid-19 Resuscitation Hospital because at that point that is where my lecture hall became, where I had to teach lessons to students while helping patients.”

Looking back on 2021, the Pandemic has left more than 1500 children orphaned. Statistics are often insensitive but they also reflect the devastation of the pandemic. In the Concert Christmas Gifts 2021, the audience met Duc Bao (student of Class-11A4 of Nguyen Huu Huan High School in Thu Duc City, Ho Chi Minh City), a student who was orphaned of both parents due to the Pandemic and is currently going to school while taking care of her brother with Down Syndrome. He, too, is a victim of the Pandemic. To help Duc Bao, Nguyen Hoang Education Group offered him a full scholarship for 4 years at any university in the System. This meaningful opportunity will help to Duc Bao's dream of becoming a contributing member of society.
