FV Hospital Trains International Standard Practice To Hong Bang International University Medical Students

On January 22, 2022, FV Hospital and Hong Bang International University (HIU - under Nguyen Hoang Education Group) officially signed a cooperation agreement on training for students of the school's health sector. The event took place at Hong Bang International University (Binh Thanh District, Ho Chi Minh City).

Providing High-Quality Human Resources For The Medical Industry

The cooperation program between FV Hospital and HIU is effective from 2022 to 2028. FV Hospital will practically train HIU’s university students and graduate students in the health sector starting in February 2022.

Within the framework of the cooperation program, the partners will organize short-term training courses, cooperate in research and development of new medical techniques, and regularly share and exchange new knowledge. In particular, FV Hospital can also recruit HIU students and graduates after graduation when there is a need.

Prof. Dr. Pham Van Linh, President of Hong Bang International University, shared, “The reason is that I want FV to cooperate in training for HIU students because this is a prestigious hospital, with 2 times JCI certification. HIU students will have the opportunity to learn and improve knowledge in a direct, dynamic way through the process at FV Hospital. They will also regularly be performed on state-of-the-art medical equipment. As a result, students and graduates can confidently work in international hospitals at home and abroad.”

Ms. Nguyen Thi Le Thu, Marketing and Business Development Manager of FV Hospital, said that the international standard medical staff in Vietnam has not really met both in quantity and quality for development needs of the health sector at present and in the near future. “Hong Bang International University is one of the few universities in Vietnam that offers international standard medical training, and even trains doctors for India and many countries in Asia. FV is the first hospital in the South to receive the JCI quality certification twice in a row and aims to achieve this for the the third time in 2022. The cooperation program between FV and HIU will help train and produce international standard medical doctors with expertise and good medical ethics”, Ms. Nguyen Thi Le Thu emphasized.

According to statistics, each year FV Hospital receives about 120 interns from many universities. In order to contribute to the training of quality human resources for the health sector, FV has begun to have the first forms of cooperation with prestigious domestic universities such as Hoa Sen University, University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Ho Chi Minh City. Ho Chi Minh City, Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Ton Duc Thang University and Lycée Francais International Marguerite Duras School (LFIMD).  The hospital's goal is to accompany universities and create an environment for future hospital managers, doctors, pharmacists, nurses, technicians, medical secretaries, to have the opportunity to practice and work in international standard hospitals like FV, thereby contributing to contribute to improving the quality of the domestic health sector, helping to improve the health care capacity of the people.

For HIU, the university conducts medical training according entirely in English, which is implemented on the basis of the standard program of the Ministry of Education and Training and the Ministry of Health of Vietnam while also giving access to medical training programs of developed countries in the world.
