07/17/2018

On July 16th, Nguyen Hoang Group (NHG) was honored to welcome two representatives of International Baccalaureate (IB) organization, who are: Mrs. Stefanie Leong – Head of Development & Recognition, Asia Pacific and Mr. Faizol Musa – Regional Development Manager, SEA, Pakistan and Bangladesh. On the occasion of working trip in Vietnam, Mrs. Stefanie and Mr. Faizol visited 2 members of NHG – The International School of North America (SNA) and Hong Bang International University (HIU) – to interact and learn more about each other, as well as development strategy in the future.

In the meeting, Dr. Doan Hue Dung – Management Director of SNA shared about training IB plan in upcoming years, as well as cooperated activities of SNA with national and international organizations. Impressed by NHG closed training system from Kindergarten to PhD and SNA development strategy, representatives of IB organization proposed the orientation completing IB program from grade 1 to grade 12 for SNA in the best timing. In additional, Mrs. Stefanie also said that NHG should utilize the available resources while owning an education eco-system, including schools and universities, to create career opportunities and bring IB Career-related Program (CP) to students. If this went to reality, IB students of NHG would be able to find jobs around the world and SNA would have a completely different and unprecedented advantage in Vietnam.

In the meeting with HIU, after listening to presentation of Associate Professor, Dr. Thai Ba Can – President of HIU about the training scope and visions, Mr. Faizol affirmed: “The training majors of HIU are very potential and full of career opportunities, not only in Vietnam but also international market”. This is the pioneering distinction of HIU on Vietnam education market, which is also a solid foundation for IB to consider HIU as one of the destinations of IB students worldwide. In the future, if MOU between IB and HIU is signed, 100% of HIU students, especially of the Medicine – Pharmacy Faculty, Healthcare Faculty, and Early Childhood Education Faculty, will have employment opportunities in the country and around the world. Not only that, labor market in Vietnam will also be supplemented with a high quality human resource, meeting global standards, bringing countless values of development to society and the country.
