Leaders of the Association of Vietnam's Universities and Colleges working at NHG

On February 23rd, leaders of Nguyen Hoang Group (NHG) welcomed and had a meeting with leaders of the Association of Vietnam’s Universities and Colleges (AVUC).

The visiting delegation includes: Professor Dr. Tran Hong Quan, chairman of the association, former MoET; Dr. Vu Ngoc Hoang, vice chairman of the association; Professor Dr. Trinh Quang Phu, member of Standing Committee of Association, director of Oriental Development Research Institute; Ms. Huynh Thi Kim Huong, general secretary of the Scientific Council of the Institute and Dr. Tran Duc Canh, member of National Council of Vietnam Education.

At the meeting, Ms. Tran Thuy Tram Quyen, director of NHG Communications – Branding Department presented the 20-year journey of development of NHG educational system. Mr. Hoang Quoc Viet, NHG chairman shared about the scale of the International Education City - IEC, considered as a unique creative "educational model" of an international education ecosystem with the desire to bring an advanced and comfortable learning environment for Vietnamese students.

Leaders of the association expressed their interest in the innovative development of NHG educational system. Dr. Vu Ngoc Hoang said: “Education is a combination of culture and science. However, in Vietnam, developmental science has not grown yet, especially human development. The International Education City (IEC) can solve this problem to overcome the difficulty of Vietnamese education”.

Meanwhile, Professor Dr. Tran Hong Quan, chairman of the Association gave many compliments about the great ideas and amazing operation of NHG. He agreed with the direction and pledged to support NHG wholeheartedly, especially in bringing prestigious universities around the world to Vietnam.

The two sides also spent time sharing many issues related to the market mechanisms for educational development, the acquisition of innovation in international education, and public-private cooperation in education, etc.
