Mr. Nguyen Xuan Phuc – Prime Minister of Vietnam visiting the first international education city in Vietnam

In the afternoon of July 2nd, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Phuc – Prime Minister of Vietnam; Mr. Nguyen Hoa Binh – Secretary of the Party Central Committee and Chief Justice of the Supreme People’s Court; Mr. Tran Van Minh – Deputy Government Inspector General have visited and worked at the International Education City – IEC Quang Ngai, which is built by Nguyen Hoang Group (NHG).

Together with government delegation, on behalf of Quang Ngai province, there were: Mr. Le Viet Chu – Provincial Party Secretary; Mr. Tran Ngoc Cang – Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of Provincial People’s Committee; Mr. Dang Ngoc Dung – Vice Chairman of Quang Ngai People’s Committee in the visit to the first and unique comprehensive education ecosystem in Vietnam – IEC Quang Ngai.

At the meeting, the Prime Minister had a speech and congratulated NHG and IEC Quang Ngai. He also highly appreciated the “smart city” model of IEC Quang Ngai, proved by the application of information technology in operation, management and research.

The Prime Minister shared: “IEC Quang Ngai is a significant model of education, not only by the comprehensive content, but also by the living environment, especially the training of human and moral for students, which creates global citizens. I would like to congratulate the great effort of Nguyen Hoang Group, the collective of teachers and students of IEC Quang Ngai. I will assign the Minister of Education and Training to review and evaluate this model for replication across the country”.

“In the innovation, revolution and socialization of education, Vietnamese education is finding the best model for development. The education must create global citizens but still retain Vietnamese culture, history and people characteristics. Quang Ngai has made innovations in recognition of educational socialization to facilitate the development of the international education city here. I would like to congratulate a huge project of Nguyen Hoang Group and wish IEC Quang Ngai will succeed, contributing to Vietnam’s education innovation” – he emphasized.

After learning about the journey to build the education city and its creative learning space, the Prime Minister visited the smart library, experienced the 3D digital learning store, visually interacted with virtual VR glasses, which are advanced smart technology devices in IEC classes, etc.

The Prime Minister highly appreciated the learning model associated with experience and was impressed by the application of information technology to operating and organizing activities in 7 modern education environments, including: natural ecology; sports and physical education; engineering and experimental science; music and culture; arts; humanities and communication; and boarding.
