NHG received Can Tho city’s delegation of leaders
On May 26th 2018, Can Tho city’s delegation of leaders paid a visit to Nguyen Hoang Group and the two members of Nguyen Hoang Education System comprising Schools of North America and Hong Bang International University. The delegation includes Mr. Dao Anh Dung – Member of Can Tho City Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of Can Tho City People’s Committee; Dr. Tran Viet Truong – Member of Can Tho city party standing committee, Head of Propaganda and Training Committee of Can Tho City; Mr. Nguyen Minh Toai – member of the party committee, Director of Can Tho City Department of Trade and Industry; Mr. Nguyen Phuc Tang – Head of Secondary Education, Can Tho City Department of Education and MinMr. Huynh Van Nuoi, Investment Manager – Can Tho City Department of Planning and Investment.
Greeting the delegation at SNA were Mr. Doan Dinh Hoang – Deputy CEO of Admissions and Marketing; Dr. Do Manh Cuong – Permanent Member of Education Council, Academic Director; Ms. Tran Thuy Tram Quyen, Director of Branding and Communications; Dr. Doan Hue Dung, Managing Director of SNA together with the school administrations, teachers and students.
Dr. Doan Hue Dung – Managing Director and Dr. David Burpee – Principle of SNA delivered welcome speeches, in which they introduced the outstanding features and achievements of the school and the students in the recent school year. Afterwards, the delegation was showed around and taken photos at the school.
The leaders of Can Tho City paid high compliments on the school facilities, teaching and learning conditions as well as the strategic and comprehensive development orientation.
Mr. Dao Anh Dung said in his speech: “As soon as we arrived at SNA, we were really impressed with the modern and spacious environment. We didn’t think there is such an international school like this in Vietnam. What also astonished us was the students’ English capacity and confidence. We really admire the education model here.” He emphasized: “We really wish that SNA will soon be present in Can Tho City so that not only the local students but also those from Mekong Delta will have an opportunity to access the international, advanced and modern education.”
At the “Ship of Knowledge” building of Hong Bang International University, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Thai Ba Can – President of HIU welcomed the delegation with a brief introduction of the university’s establishment history and development milestones.
Impressed with the “Ship of Knowledge” building as well as the streamlined organization and the international standard training program, Mr. Dao Anh Dung also shared with HIU leaders and representatives of HIU departments, institutes and centers about Can Tho city’s development orientation in various fields, among which education is considered a priority of the city’s long-term development strategies. “We’re impressed with the training program, especially the modern, international standard facilities of the university.” He said.
At NHG headquarter, Chairman Hoang Quoc Viet, on behalf of the Group, said his thanks to the delegation for their visit and gave an introduction of the Group and its most recent project – the International Education City IEC. Can Tho city’s delegation expressed their impression of the large, complete education system of NHG, especially the international education city IEC model as well as their expectation to soon promote the investment and establishment of this outstanding model in Can Tho in order to contribute to the development of the local education in particular and the key economic region of Mekong Delta in general.
The visit of Can Tho city’s delegation of leaders to NHG has ended up bringing a lot of good opportunities for cooperation and investment in an education system between NHG and Can Tho city.
