NHG students bringing spring to 400 orphans and the elderly

From January 9th to 13th, students of Nguyen Hoang Group (NHG) presented gifts worth more than 300 million VND including cash and dried bamboo shoots, toys, clothes to 4 places: Belem orphanage, Thua Thien Hue province; Phu Hoa orphanage, Quang Ngai province; Xuan Loc nursing home, Dong Nai province; Thanh Binh nursing home, Tien Giang province.

The gifts were donated from the Christmas music night "Gifts from Love" Christmas music program organized by the NHG Academic Council and students, where more than 800 million in funds were raised by NHG’s partners, parents and students on December 11th, 2019. The program has awarded nearly 500 million for 4 orphanages as well as a fund for cancer children.

In pursue of Human philosophy and respect of humanity values, NHG highly promotes social responsibilities to contribute good values for the community. NHG students are striving to devote all their kindness in a loving Tet holiday.

From heart to heart

On the morning of January 9th, 2020, students of International Education City - IEC Quang Ngai brought with them meaningful Tet gifts to children at Phu Hoa orphanage in Quang Ngai. The orphanage has become a dear place for IEC Quang Ngai students in many community activities.

Previously, on October 24th, 2019, NHG representatives donated 2 billion VND to rebuild this place for 33 orphans in Tinh An Tay commune, Quang Ngai city. In this journey of giving love, Phu Hoa orphanage received money and gifts worth 70 million VND.

Students of International Education City - IEC Quang Ngai brought with them meaningful Tet gifts to children at Phu Hoa orphanage in Quang Ngai.

The Phu Hoa orphanage was established in 1963, belongs to the Quy Nhon Holy Sisters Association. According to historical records, over 55 years, 150 children who have been raised here have grown up and left the orphanage to get married and settle down. Currently, the orphanage is raising 33 children, two of whom are going to college, one is attending high school, most of them are in secondary high school and primary school.

Through volunteer activities, NHG and IEC Quang Ngai desires to accompany young generations to become moral people (with love, respect, support and sacrifice) and humanity (with wisdom, justice, courage, and self-control).

Students of the UK Academy international bilingual school (UKA) and representatives of NHG visited, presented gifts and 90 million VND in cash to Belem orphanage, Thua Thien Hue.

In addition, on January 10th, 2020, students of the UK Academy international bilingual school (UKA) and representatives of NHG visited, presented gifts and 90 million VND in cash to Belem orphanage, Thua Thien Hue, where is currently nurturing 51 children with difficult circumstances from 6 to 15 years old.

In addition, the schools in the K-12 system of NHG also organize many volunteer activities. NHG staff has donated cash, toys, teddy bears, medical equipment to the program also.

A humane spring, a beloved Tet

From January 12th to 13th, 2020, the program continued to visit the Xuan Loc nursing home in Dong Nai province and the Thanh Binh nursing home in Tien Giang province. Participating in the charity trip, there were representatives of NHG; students from Hong Bang International University (HIU); students of International School of North America (SNA); iSchool Long An international integration school.

Xuan Loc nursing home was inaugurated on October 13th, 1993. In the past 27 years, the elderly who had special circumstances have been taken care by the nursing home. This place is taking care of 128 elderly people from 50 to 99 years old, with difficult situations, including 30 cases of polio, many of whom have to use wheelchairs and canes.

Thanks to the lucky money and gifts worth more than 60 million VND, the nursing home will be decorated so that they can have a more joyful and happy atmosphere on occasion of Tet holiday.

Besides, Thanh Binh nursing home in Tien Giang province have had 42 elderly and children in difficult circumstances. Representatives of the program presented cash and gifts worth 80 million VND.
