UK Academy inaugurated the 5th campus in Ha Long

On July 29^th, UK Academy international bilingual school (UKA), Ha Long campus was officially inaugurated. This is the 5th campus in the system of UKA, a member of Nguyen Hoang Group (NHG).

In the event, there were provincial leaders, directors of local departments, leaders of NHG and UKA Ha Long. In addition, more than 500 parents and students of Ha Long and other NHG systems like: singer Phi Nhung; Ho Van Cuong; Hoang Anh Doraemon; Tan Bao; etc. also took part in the event.

Mission to spread knowledge

UKA Ha Long is an international bilingual school, provides education from kindergarten to grade 12, belongs to NHG educational system and is established in accordance with decision no. 1720 / QD-UBND of Quang Ninh Provincial People’s Committee dated April 25, 2019. UKA Ha Long includes an ideal learning environment with the most modern facilities in the locality: a campus of 1.33ha with capacity of nearly 2,000 stduents; 2 buildings – the inter-grade block has 5 floors, 74 classrooms, 16 functional rooms and kindergarten block has 3 floors, 24 classrooms, 3 functional rooms.

In addition, UKA Ha Long also owns a system of multi-purpose gyms, cafeteria and swimming pool of international standards, open space and comfortable furniture with a seaside view. The school offers a liberal education model, an English program of Cambridge standard, a team of highly qualified, experienced and enthusiastic foreign teachers.

Delivering his speech at the ceremony, Mr. Dang Huy Hau, Member of Central Standing Committee, Standing Vice Chairman of Quang Ninh Provincial People’s Committee said: “Through the introduction of UKA Ha Long, I can imagine that students graduating from UKA Ha Long will have essential living skills, promote their potentials and confidently integrate.

With the Humane education philosophy, UKA provides students a solid foundation of 9 programs: English program of Cambridge standards; NCUK program; Vietnam’s MoET program; living values and skills programs; music program of LCM; finance, entrepreneur programs of JA; STEM Robotics program; optimal physical education program and extra-curricular activities programs.

At the event, Mr. Alexander Ricardo Hoyte – Principal of the international program of UKA systems introduced the NCUK program. After finishing this program, students have opportunities to study in more than 60 universities in England, Ireland, Australia, America and Europe, in which there are 25 universities from the top 200 world’s leading universities.
