Amid the extremely stressful Covid-19 epidemic in Ho Chi Minh City, people must stay home for safety, there were young people and volunteers, including students from universities in the Nguyen Hoang Group system, working hard to bring more 100 tons of food reliefs donated by Ha Tinh province’s residents to the needy in the city.
On the morning of January 13th, representatives of NHG’s leaders, staff, teachers, students and sponsor's representatives - Hudson Global Scholars Organization – partner to implement the American Baccalaureate Program of Providence Country Day - Vietnam Campus have started the journey of volunteering, bringing love to the Thien Than Shelter (Address: 296, Area 3, Group 9, Dong Hai hamlet, Tan Hai commune, Tan Thanh district, Ba Ria-Vung Tau) - where takes care of and nurtures more than 75 children with disabilities, cerebral palsy, mental illness and orphans.
On November 15th, 2020, Nguyen Hoang Group (NHG) cooperated with HCMC Sponsoring Association for People with Disabilities and Orphans; The Dental Association of HCMC University of Medicine and Pharmacy; The delegation of doctors, medical experts in the Health sector of Hong Bang International University (HIU) and well-known hospitals in HCMC organized free medical examinations and treatment for 2,000 people including orphans and underprivileged people with disabilities and students in difficult circumstances in HCMC.
From January 9th to 13th, students of Nguyen Hoang Group (NHG) presented gifts worth more than 300 million VND including cash and dried bamboo shoots, toys, clothes to 4 places: Belem orphanage, Thua Thien Hue province; Phu Hoa orphanage, Quang Ngai province; Xuan Loc nursing home, Dong Nai province; Thanh Binh nursing home, Tien Giang province.
On December 18th and 19th, children of kindy grade and teachers of iSchool Bac Lieu went to present gifts to over 70 orphans, 50 elderly people at the social protection center of Bac Lieu province and Long Phuoc shelter. During the trip, iSchool children brought the songs from their loving heart to bless and spread the colorful Christmas festive atmosphere.
On August 31st and September 8th, the Architecture faculty of Hong Bang International University (HIU) came to Tra Vinh province, giving 400 gifts worth 77 million VND to students of Kim Dong primary school, Tra Vinh society center and Dieu Giac pagoda in the framework of the charity program named "Moonlight of love".
On July 23rd 2019, the most 21 excellent students of IEC’s Got Talent contest visited and interacted with children at Phu Hoa orphanage (Son Tinh district, Quang Ngai province). They actively delivered gifts to the children with spirit of love and sharing. Those were simple gifts but prepared carefully by IEC students themselves.
In addition, they played many musical performances, expressing their love and inspiring children at Phu Hoa orphanage. Ms. Nu, representative of the orphanage, emotionally shared: “Today is a very happy day when our children are hold in love from warm heart of IEC students.”
On the occasion of the International Children's Day (June 1st), Gia Dinh University (GDU) organized a music night mini-concert to raise funds so then they visited Phuc Lam orphanage, Long Thanh district, Dong Nai province to give away 100 gifts for children, including cake; candies; school supplies as well as rice, sugar, milk, diapers and cash.
On the occasion of International Children's Day (June 1st), the team of volunteer doctors and pharmacists of Hong Bang International University (HIU) organized the program "Sharing love" in Binh Khanh commune, Can Gio district, HCMC with a total value of gifts up to VND 50 million.
