Get creative with the "Creativity Explodes" contest
With the purpose of hunting, exploring and nurturing young creative talents, NHG organizes the "CREATIVITY EXPLODES" contest. This is a playground for young people to express their "infinite" creativity through videos produced, composed and performed by themselves.
RULES
Submit video clips (up to 5 minutes) of fun, unique moments that express excitement when returning to school after the school break.
TIMELINE
• Submission: 8-20/5/2020
• Grading: 21-22/5/2020
• Result announcement: 22/5/2020
CANDIDATES
All students in the country (individual/group).
AWARDS
The total value is up to 70,000,000 VND
• "Young Creator" Award: 10,000,000 VND scholarship for the school year 2020-2021 at iSchool, UKA or IEC and Hesh 3 - Skullcandy headphones.
• 02 "Potential Creator" Awards: 10,000,000 VND scholarship for the school year 2020-2021 at iSchool, UKA or IEC and 01 Fujifilm instax mini 9 camera.
• 03 "Community Video" Awards: 10,000,000 VND scholarship for the school year 2020-2021 at iSchool, UKA or IEC and 01 JBL Go2 Bluetooth speaker.
HOW TO JOIN
• Step 1: After video is completed, candidates send video to email BanK12@nhg.vn with the title: YOUR NAME -CREATIVITY EXPLODES
• Step 2: Upload the video on your personal page with hashtags #creativityexplodes #backtoschool #UKA #IEC #iSCHOOL #schoolsname (eg: #UKABaRia) and set the post available for public
• Step 3: Tag names of your 3 friends and challenge them to join.
*Note: candidates outside UKA, iSchool, IEC systems do not need to attach the hashtag #schoolsname.
GRADING CRITERIA
The post will be graded based on 04 criteria:
• Skill
• Content
• Creativity
• Influence to the community
Score calculating methods:
"Young Creator" Award: 70% of the score is from organizers + 30% of the score is from the audience.
"Potential creator" Award: 100% of the score is from organizers.
"Community Video" Award: voted by the audience only.
*Videos with appearance of teachers, parents, friends will be prioritized to earn more scores.
REGULATIONS OF THE CONTEST
1. Regulations about candidate’s post:
• Video clip has a maximum length of 05 minutes.
• The video shows cheerfulness, humor and is appropriate with the theme of student’s excitement when returning to school after a long school break due to disease.
• Video clip is produced after the contest is launched.
• Video clip has never participated in and won prizes at other contests.
2. Technical requirements:
• Submitted video can be made with video recorder, mobile phone with video recording function, camera with video recording function, etc.
• Video must be saved as .avi, .mpeg, .mpg, .mkv, .wmv, .asf, .flv, .3gp, .mp4. with minimum resolution is 640 x 480 pixels.
• Candidates must keep the original file for checking in case candidates win the award.
3. Other regulations:
• Video must have good quality, clear image and sound; can use visual and sound effects. Video has unique content, creative idea, clear message.
• Video can be produced in English or Vietnamese.
• Each group or individual can participate with maximum 03 video clips.
• The video’s content must not violate the regulations of Government and the law, not be contrary to Vietnam’s traditional values, not be related to political and religious issues, not violate other regulations of the law.
• Candidate group must be the author of the clip, the number of members in a group is not limited, candidate groups are responsible for the accuracy, truthfulness and copyright disputes of the work.
• The organizers are not responsible for handling disputes over copyright or other issue related to the winning clips.
• The organizers have the right to make the final decision when selecting Video Clips.
