Merry Christmas with NHG “Gifts from Love” music night

On December 11th, nearly 2,000 spectators joined the Christmas music night “Gifts from Love” organized by the Academic Council and Students Council of Nguyen Hoang Group (NHG), where more than 800 million in funds were raised by NHG’s partners, parents and students.

In the spirit of holiness, prayer songs and Christmas carols, the music night “Gifts from Love” spread the meaning of love and humanity, created an opportunity for meeting, connecting and joining hands of schools, students, community, society with the will of “serving in love”.

Bring thousands of hearts together

The music night “Gifts from Love”, which was designed and directed by Mr. Minh Khang musician and Mr. Quoc Thuan artist, attracted nearly 2,000 guests, including: the superiors; priests; men and women monks; NHG partners; representatives of consulates; NHG’s parents, students, teachers, lecturers and staff.

The holy atmosphere and merry rhythms of the Christmas season was created by wonderful performances of famous singers and parents in NHG education system: singer Dam Vinh Hung; singer Dong Nhi; singer Minh Thu; singer Kyo York; etc. and well-known Christmas choirs in Ho Chi Minh city, such as: Que Huong choir (Phanxico – Dakao); Pio X choir; Thong Vi Vu choir; Angelo band; Hang Xanh Parish choir; choir of  Dominican Sister of Saint of Rose Lima; etc.

With the gracefulness of actress Thanh Thuy, MC Thien Vu and MC Quang Quy, in the music night, NHG teachers, lecturers and students together contribute their beautiful voices in the spirit of love to pray for a better world.

In addition to musical and artistic performances, there was a charity fundraising auction of 24 paintings created by NHG teachers, lecturers and students. In which, the painting “Knowledge-sower” by artist Phan Vu Linh, lecturer of Hoa Sen University, was especially composed by the art of reverse painting, inspired by the sower in the Bible, implying for the image of teachers sowing seeds of soul in young generation.

Ms. Nguyen Thu Huong – the runner-up of The World Lady, Miss sports, CEO of Nam Huong Group, successfully auctioned the painting for 160 million dong. On the other hand, with the spirit of sharing love, the representative of The Adora still donated 100 million dong despite not winning the painting.

To give is to gain

The music night “Gifts from Love” was also supported actively by NHG partners, who are: Sacombank; Dr. Thanh beverage; Vietcombank; Vietinbank; BNI Vietnam; PVI insurance; Viet Thuong Music; KNN communications; First News publisher; Bao Toan furniture company; etc. 

The music night raised more than 800 million in cash, which is delivered to charity funds and groups, to support children with special circumstances.

Representatives of NHG awarded funds to representatives of: Vinh Son orphanage; Cancer Children's Charitable Fund; Dominican Sister of Saint of Rose Lima and the project to build boarding houses for ethnic minority secondary school students

In pursue of Human philosophy and respect of humanity values, NHG highly promotes social responsibilities to contribute good values for the community. NHG students are striving to devote all their kindness in a loving and holy Christmas season.

By that way, each student in NHG is more aware of the limits of human destiny, the blessing that they are enjoying and how to repay those by learning, training and become a trustful individual for family, society and country.”
