NHG and Vietnam Catholic Education Committee award more than 100 Hope scholarships

On October 10th, Nguyen Hoang Group (NHG) accompanied by the Vietnam Catholic Education Committee to award 103 full scholarships to students in HCMC, Vinh Long and Quy Nhon.

Attending the ceremony was Bishop Peter Huynh Van Hai - President of the Committee, Priest Vinh Son Nguyen Cao Dung - General Secretary of the Committee, Dr. Do Manh Cuong - Deputy CEO of NHG, Assoc. Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Vu and Assoc. Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Huy - Vice Presidents of Hoa Sen University (HSU).

With the Hope scholarship, 103 students will study at 3 universities under the NHG Education System, including: Hoa Sen University (HSU), Hong Bang International University (HIU) and Gia Dinh University (GDU). This will be an environment for scholarship recipients to improve their expertise, profession and life skills, creating a solid foundation for them to confidently step into the future.

Through this scholarship, NHG wants to join hands in the educational mission of the communion and the society.

Speaking at the ceremony, Bishop Peter Huynh Van Hai reminded students to try to improve their professional knowledge, showing their effort to achieve the awarded scholarship: “Scholarship is like a seed and you are the people who take care of that seed, cultivate it, grow it into flowers and spread them to others, in other words, to serve others with your expertise.”

“This full scholarship is hoped to be an opportunity for Nguyen Hoang Group to contribute to the educational mission of the communion and society in general, to dedicate to serving poor people in society in particular. At the same time, this activity contributes to spreading the Human Education philosophy to a large number of students in all regions of the country”, Dr. Do Manh Cuong shared.
