SNA officially becomes a member of the Council of International Schools (CIS)
On May 28th, the International Schools of North America (SNA) officially becomes a member of the Council of International Schools (CIS), a world’s leading prestigious international education accreditation organization.
Previously, the accreditation delegation of CIS has visited and worked at SNA from May 15th to 17th with positive feedbacks. Therefore, in a short time, SNA has received the recognition certificate from CIS. In order to become CIS member, SNA must undergo an extremely rigorous evaluation process comprising 22 core criteria of 9 strict standards. This proves the top training quality and international standards of SNA.
This certification also represents a commitment to ensuring the well-being and safety of students, creating a strong educational foundation to fully develop anywhere in the world, helping them become global citizens in the future.
The certificate of recognition SNA as a CIS member
Especially, one of the most important meanings to become a CIS member is that SNA teachers can exchange experiences and skills with global teachers, as well as participate in international seminars to continuously improve their teaching quality.
SNA is now a candidate for IB program at PYP, MYP and DP levels
Becoming a member of CIS is an important milestone in the journey of offering international education, while being a foundation for SNA to achieve many outstanding results in the coming academic years. Those efforts not only help SNA become a great school for every student, but also contribute in the journey to confirm its leading position in international education.
