Student of Information Technology Department - Hong Bang International University (HIU) to be honored at Vietnamese Student’s Informatics Olympics 2017

Do Nhat Truong – a student from class TH15DH-TH1, Faculty of Information Technology - Hong Bang International University has won the Special Encouragement Prize in the Vietnam Informatics Olympiad 2017 which was held this December.

With the results and the effectiveness shown through the 20 olympiads since 1992, the competition has been considered an indispensable event in education and training sector for Vietnam ICT development. It has truly become an emulation movement that encourages national students’ self-study of IT and ICT. As a national and international competition, it is a practical and effective playground for ICT students in the trend of international integration.

HIU Faculty of Information Technology with the curriculum based on that of North American, European and Asian universities, the use of digital learning resources system as well as its national and international highly qualified teaching staff has been providing human resources for the 4.0 technology revolution.
