HIU, Little Roses Foundation provide free health consultation, 200 gifts to people in Binh Thanh District
On the morning of April 21, 2024, Hong Bang International University (HIU) and a team of more than 100 physicians who are lecturers and students of the School's Health Department organized health checks for people in difficult circumstances in Binh Thanh District. The program is part of the HIU Health Day 2024 event series, with the coordination of Binh Thanh District Youth Union and Little Rose Foundation (LRF).
The event was attended by representatives of Binh Thanh District Youth Union, representatives of Little Rose Foundation, representatives of HIU - Associate Professor Dr. Lam Hoai Phuong - the University's Vice President, lecturers, and leaders of the health science sector. In particular, the program includes the participation of teachers and final-year students from the faculties of Medicine, Odonto-Stomatology, Medical Testing, Engineering Rehabilitation, etc.
During the morning, HIU welcomed, consulted, and examined the health of nearly 200 people in Ward 25, Binh Thanh District. Most of them are elderly people and people in difficult circumstances. Coming here, people get blood sugar measurements, general examinations, dental care examinations and consultations, rehabilitation examinations and consultations, etc.
In particular, with the great companionship from the Little Rose Foundation, each person was also given a gift of essential items.
In addition, there is also the companionship of the International Student Council, HIU (ISC) in organizing work.
HIU students holding beautiful umbrellas, blocking the sun, enthusiastically guiding, pushing carts, and helping the elderly to each medical examination area hold many emotions and are so beautiful.
Through this activity, Hong Bang International University and Little Roses Foundation wish to collaborate with local authorities in taking care of the health of people in difficult circumstances and elderly people in the District, bringing small, warm joys to those in difficult lives.
