NHG's loving journey to the Thien Than Shelter
Following the success of the Christmas Gifts 2020 - Lights of Love concert, Nguyen Hoang Group (NHG) will continue on the journey of kindness with charity activities for the community.
On the morning of January 13th, representatives of NHG’s leaders, staff, teachers, students and sponsor's representatives - Hudson Global Scholars Organization – partner to implement the American Baccalaureate Program of Providence Country Day - Vietnam Campus have started the journey of volunteering, bringing love to the Thien Than shelter (Address: 296, Area 3, Group 9, Dong Hai Hamlet, Tan Hai Commune, Tan Thanh District, Ba Ria-Vung Tau) - where takes care of and nurtures more than 75 children with disabilities, cerebral palsy, mental illness and orphans.
Ms. Hoang Thi Le Trinh, Deputy CEO of NHG, on behalf of the Group and sponsors, presented Thien Than Shelter 150 million VND and more than 400 gifts of nutritious drinks, food and clothes. At the same time, she expressed her gratitude towards soeurs and staff of the shelter.
Ms. Hoang Thi Le Trinh, Deputy CEO of NHG (third from the right), was touched by the Soeurs' compassionate and loving hearts when they devoted a lot of effort to building this place to become a home for the community to take social responsibility.
Joining the journey, teachers and students from kindergarten to grade 12 of UKA Ba Ria visited, presented gifts, and played with children at the shelter. In particular, UKA Ba Ria Student Council donated 20 million VND to the Thien Than Shelter from the school's charity fund contributed by the students themselves..

After the visit to the Thien Than Shelter, NHG's volunteer journey will continue to reach 7 other compassionate addresses (in Ba Ria - Vung Tau, Dong Nai, Tien Giang, Kon Tum, Pleiku) from January 12th to 30th, 2021 with a total donation of 1.7 billion VND and gifts including: clothes, toys, food and necessities for daily life.
Mr. David Hooser – Vice President of Business Development of Hudson Global Scholars – Partner implementing the American Baccalaureate Program of Providence Country Day - Vietnam Campus. Accompanying NHG in volunteer activities, he bought handmade souvenirs of the children at Thien Than shelter as presents for UKA Ba Ria’s students.
With the spirit of "giving is receiving", NHG constantly spreads love with practical community activities. The implementation of these loving lessons will help thousands of employees and students of NHG become comprehensive human beings, beautifying their lives and contributing to brighten the future of the country.
