GDU football team won the 2018 National futsal championship

On October 2nd, the closing and awarding ceremony of the 2018 National futsal championship participated by 10 professional teams from across the country and 16 student teams from universities and colleges in HCMC had come to an end.

As a result, the professional futsal team of Gia Dinh University (GDU) excellently won the final third prize. Besides the professional tournament, GDU’s student futsal team also clinched the trophy in the student matches from September 8^th to September 29^th.

The National futsal championship is annually held by the Vietnam Football Federation since 2007. In this tournament, Hai Phuong Nam (GDU) team also won the award for impressive style. Besides, Vu Quoc Hung, player of Hai Phuong Nam team (GDU) achieved the title of the best player.

Reportedly, Quoc Hung is the play-maker of GDU team and has regularly joined in the Vietnam National futsal team for many years. He also recently received the award of Vietnam Golden futsal ball on December 22.
