NHG education expert was shined at the global education forum

The event aimed to honor creative educators (MIE experts) who apply technology in teaching effectively and make outstanding contributions to education.

From April 2nd to 4th, together with 3 other excellent Vietnamese teachers, Mr. Ngo Thanh Nam, deputy head of the primary division, K-12 academic department of Nguyen Hoang Group, attended the global education forum (Education Exchange - E2) organized by Microsoft in Paris, France. In 2019, there were more than 350 teachers and educational leaders from 109 countries around the world attending the forum.

Selected by Microsoft as one of the 4 teachers applying information technology as well as Flipgrid tool to enhance students' ability in the classroom, Mr. Ngo Thanh Nam shared about his project named "Everyday kindness” at the forum. This project uses technology to connect 12,000 students from 40 countries around the globe, inspiring them about the kind values of life. In addition, the project is an opportunity for students to share their "voice" with the community. The project received attention from global teachers and Microsoft leaders.

Besides, technology applications of Nguyen Hoang Group, especially bringing Office 365 to management and teaching at their education system, were also presented at the event. Currently, iSchool international integration school system has been recognized as Microsoft showcase school.

In 2019, UK Academy international bilingual schools and the international schools of North America (SNA) will continue to complete the registration for this title. NHG teachers are also in the Microsoft's creative education specialist program.

At the forum, Mr. Nam collaborated with other teachers around the world solve challenges of the forum: some problems in the teaching process. This year, the forum focused on helping teachers strengthen content in the classroom, including: creativity; collaboration; student voice; and inclusion.

Previously in 2015, Mr. Ngo Thanh Nam was also selected to attend the forum in Remond, USA and so then won the second prize with other teachers.
