NHG educational system’s students are eager to return to school with the song "Covid, I want to go to school"

After the endless "Tet" holiday, all schools of Nguyen Hoang Group welcome the back-to-school day in joy and full of energy. In particular, iSchool Saigon South also actively responded to the back-to-school atmosphere with the song "Covid, I want to go to school" - a product composed, performed and produced by Runner-up of The Voice Kids Vietnam 2014 and students of iSchool Saigon South.

When schools were shut down due to the Covid-19 epidemic, more than anyone else, students were the first audience to suffer discontinued learning journey. One month, two months, then three months, the desire to return to school reached its peak and motivated iSchool Saigon South’s teachers and students to create a song expressing their feelings.

iSchool Saigon South's teachers and students utilized their creativity and artistic talents to spread positive message through an interesting language which is music. The song was performed simply with an acoustic guitar and "Covid, go away" dance move from students. Moreover, the “cool” rap part of Mon Hoang Anh – Runner-up of The Voice Kids Vietnam 2014 brought a fresh and youthful breath into the song. The MV received positive responses from online community when expressing the common worry of students nationwide through mischievous lyrics:

“Please, please, please help us get over this pandemic soon.
Please, please, I got bored at home and wanted to go to school.
C-O-V-I-D, go away, go away, please go away.
C-O-V-I-D, go away, go away, please go away.”

iSchool Saigon South’s students performed the song in a mischievous and witty way with unique "props".

This "home-made" product is a message welcoming students back to school as students all over the country eagerly prepare for school since the epidemic situation has been well controlled. In order to help students catch up with their study progress after returning to school, Nguyen Hoang Group educational system’s members such as: iSchool International Integration School, UK Academy International Bilingual School (UKA), International Schools of North America (SNA), etc., are still actively and regularly following school’s schedule with 100% online teaching, applied to most subjects, through the Microsoft Office 365 toolkits and IT applications for instant communication.

Thus, the connection between students, parents and schools is always tightened, ensuring students understand lessons. After returning to school, online communication and online learning methods will continue to be maintained in parallel with in-class lessons so that schools, parents and students can work together effectively to achieve the best result.
