Welcoming the 21st year of establishment: NHG IS HAPPY TO SERVE IN LOVE

The basis of Nguyen Hoang’s people is to love and to serve, in other words "serving in love". On the foundation of love, Nguyen Hoang’s people will lead, teach, care, learn and work with a spirit of serving.

Stepping into the 21st year of the journey of spreading knowledge, NHG chooses this year to be the Year of the Heart with the spirit: Serving in love.

Human educational philosophy and the voice of the heart

It can be said that life’s journey is the journey of sharing and understanding. NHG believes that this unique journey of each person is created and motivated by 5 core values, represented in 5 H letters: Heart (Love and generosity), Head (Intelligence and wisdom), Hand (Outstanding skills), Health (Powerful energy) and finally Human, a comprehensive person in Mind - Intelligence - Ability. 

“Everyone needs a teacher”, the performance of iSchool Saigon South's students, won the third prize of NHG’s Got Talent season 4.

NHG consistently chooses Human educational philosophy - 5H as a guideline for all activities. This philosophy emphasizes that the root of education must be human, so that every child can develop their special abilities, nurture dignity and cultivate precious human values.

To connect and spread the beautiful human values, only education can do this job. In education, knowledge is the aroma and love is the sweetness. Education awakens a loving heart, develops an intelligent mind, fosters hard-working hands, builds a healthy body and completes a comprehensive human.

Spreading the love to people with difficult backgrounds during Lunar New Year of 2020, from January 9th to 13th, NHG students donated more than 300 million VND including cash and food, toys, clothes on their trips to shelters, charity houses and nursing homes.

HEART - first car of the "Human train”

Heart is the starting point also the center of Human. NHG places the heart at the beginning of 5 human values because NHG cherishes the original beauty of the heart and soul, focuses on emotional and personality education, aims to train responsible and happy global citizens.

In NHG’s educational environment, Heart is the love of people, love of colleagues, love of teachers, love of students, love of NHG, love of the chosen pathway in which NHG can spread knowledge and love everywhere.

For NHG, school is not only a place to acquire knowledge but to listen to the voice of our heart. Thus, NHG students are fully and carefully equipped with emotional and personality education, in order to become people who understand themselves and others, develop positive emotions such as confidence, forgiveness, acceptance towards others, courage and determination.

According to Dr. Vu Thi Phuong Anh, NHG’s Director of Education Quality Assurance Department, love education will help people to develop high emotional intelligence (EQ) and become successful and happy. This is also what advanced educational foundations in the world are aiming for. Love, even the simplest love, has a power to build up a great future. Thanks to love, many generations of talents are born with a creative mind, a heart full of generosity and goodness. It is love that helps mankind flourish but not become dictatorial and brutal.

Love in education at NHG is the ultimate purpose and the achievement of more than 4,000 teachers, staff and 65,000 students in Vietnam as well as over five continents.

NHG’s wheel on the pathway of serving in education is reaching its 21-year milestone of establishment and development. At this new age, NHG hopes that loving hearts will create a "civilization of love" where people build and recreate comprehensive human life and really step on the pathway of love, peace and happiness.
